First of all, I want to give my condolences to you about the father. It was a neat gesture to make a game and dedicate it to his memory.
I really loved this. There were some minor details I would fix, like the dogs, but the rest is truly great. Mechanics were simple, the main protagonist felt genuine, 3 dimensional and he had a cause. I felt eerie walking down those hallways in the house and the final climax was worth it. Some of the notes made no sense, as the grammar needs to be fixed, but besides that, the game is legit creepy.
