I am a founder of the newly formed Absurd-i-Oh LLC!

Our mission is to develop our flagship card game: Abusrd-i-Oh! Yes, it is inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh! Our vision is to create an accessible card game community that is powered by player's imaginations.  We will do this through integrating the abilities of generative AI into our game.

Currently, we are working on building a basic prototype of our game. I have some skills in python, and some basic understanding of C#, but I am not a professional programmer, so I need some help. I was able to build a card generator for this game, but am having trouble finishing a prototype. For this prototype, using pygame is acceptable, but I would prefer to make the game in Unity.

Right now I am currently looking for volunteers to help out, but there are potential employment, payment, or profit sharing opportunities once the project gets going.

We are currently looking for the following roles:

  • Programmer(s)
    • Skills in C# or python, preferably C#
    • Skill in Unity. Experience in 2D game development preferred
    • Knowledge of pygame is acceptable
  • Marketing/Social Media Managers
  • UI/UX designers
  • Web Developer

If you are interested in helping out, please reach out to me at my email (emmitt.tucker@absurd-i-oh.com) or respond to this thread. Also please visit my poorly made website for more information about the project.
