I decided to unzip the program for Linux.

There's a html file describing some basic features. However, the README file is blank.

And the 'cartagen' file cannot be ran as a bash script. I checked the permissions with ls and the following shows that it should run.

Hi, sorry for the blank  readme. I do not use Linux often. I will try the Linux version asap ( probably next week ) and get back to you.   can you try to do a chmod +x on the cartagen file to make it executable ? Thanks 

when it is an executable, i usually just click on it and it opens

you may need to install the qt runtime package on your system
