Moin and hello,

I am an entry-level freelance translator and native German with a bachelor's degree in Technical Translation and a very strong interest in getting into video game localization. I am looking for friendly people to collaborate with - if you are an indie dev and need something translated from English to German, I got you covered. I do have fixed rates for direct clients and translation agencies. However, since I am tackling a new specialization with potentially like-minded individuals, I am open-minded and flexible in regards to payment.

If you are interested in collaborating and growing with me, prepare to inform me about your game, the setting, the characters and relationships, etc., as much as possible. The more information I have, the more precise the translation will be, especially when it comes to RPG's, flavour texts and character personalities and interactions.

I am prepared to work with XLSX files directly (I understand this is quite common) or, alternatively, with DOC files or similar for use with CAT tools (computer-assisted translation) for longer and more descriptive texts containing a number of specialized terms - naturally, building a termbase that is tailored to one specific dev or one specific project helps a lot with consistency.

Hit me up for more details - I am happy to connect with friendly folks.
