FISX: An upcoming multiplayer physics sandbox

Hi itch

My partner and I are developing our first game together, and so far we've made some progress we would like to share with you, in hopes of getting some constructive feedback.

In short, FISX is a multiplayer physics sandbox, where players should feel grounded in a whimsical world, and where objects seem to have heft. We want players to be able to play all kinds of minigames, delivery missions, races, fishing etc. for money that they then can use on apparel, car upgrades and what not. Currently we're still in a very barebones stage, but we find that most of the mechanical aspects are pretty well rounded. That said, it's very early in development - we have spent just a few days so far.

You can check out our project on this link, and watch our devlogs on our youtube, but as we fail to generate an audience, I decided to try my luck in here.

The current download is an old version from before we started refactoring the networking API, but we hope to get a working prototype of the new version out soon. But if you're willing to check out our videos, and maybe leave some feedback on the overall aesthetic and the mechanical appearance, we would be absolutely stoked, as up until this point we're unsure whether there could be a future in this project.

If what you see interests you, let us know!

Have a great week!
