Suggestions about gameplay/game mechanics Sticky

This is a topic for suggestions about changes in game's mechanics that aren't bugs.

Cool demo so far. Two small quality of life improvements I would suggest:

1. When the screen goes dark and the player has no lava lamp and thus is blind guessing, it can be hard to tell when the cursor is hovering over something that can be selected. I would recommend adding a different cursor sprite when hovering over something clickable so it is easier to tell.

2. When choosing an item, it cannot be picked up until after MatPat's audio has ended. I'm sure this is intentional, but it seems to take a bit to long sometimes to allow the player to pick up items again. I would recommend shortening this time if that's feasible.

Otherwise, awesome demo, looking forward to seeing how this project develops.

Thank you for the feedback!

1. This should be pretty easy to add

2. I noticed this myself when testing, though I'm going to need to change a few things to get this to work

Possible changes:

-would change Fortnite symbol, maybe do a llama pinata instead, but I did not know that was Fortnite other than it being the only option

-thought the Resident Evil symbol was an umbrella, honestly, also had no idea other than it being the only remaining option (that could be changed to BanBan if you wanted, it may be easier to draw characters and symbols from that game)

-there isn't a sound for using the keys, but there is for using the lamp, maybe a click sound could be added?

Thank you for these ideas!

-I couldn't think at the moment I was making the sprite what else is recognizable as Fortnite. The llama could be a good idea

-Some games aren't obvious what they are, you need knowledge about games to play this. This might happen every now and then but as long as you're able to figure it out by the process of elimination then it should be fine

-I kinda forgot about adding a noise for the keys, I'm going to add it now
