Hi! Thank you for enjoying the game, I understand your frustration and I feel it. As not to be optimistic whatsoever, I need to push an update before November 2023, a big one that is since I'll be showcasing the game at Paris for Y/CON23. It's possible, very probable even that incremental updates will be released until then to test the features to be implemented, but I've made promises in the past I couldn't keep so better hope than count on it. At the moment my mind is taken on a comic I must hand to my publisher by mid-June 23, after which progression on Incubus Realms Escapism (the game) will resume. I haven't really considered the game to be "big" enough to justify a discord server for itself, but if you think otherwise I might consider it.
Incubus Realms : Escapism is and remain my main project, I may be suffering from unfortunate events, lack of funds, delays and my own limitations, but I still firmly work on it towards its completion, whatever or whenever this may be. However, as of late, I've noticed that my demands in terms of quality have been slowing down the production of all my projects to unviable speed. I'm looking into tools and assets that could make this quality viable. Blender and Grease Pencil to draw a decor once and never have to redraw its every angles, Chatgpt for chewing down the coding, donations for sound effects, etc. All of that to say, I'm very aware of the issue, I'm aware it feels long and hopeless. It's not like I don't care, it's all I care about really.
