So, I'm dabbling in Unreal Engine 5 right now and have hit a few dead ends along the way, but now I'm a bit further along in development and can finally announce my game called: "The Ominous Legacy"!
It's the first game I've ever made, and I've kind of started to wonder if UE5 is really the best way to start, but hey, here we are, right?
So far I don't have much to show, just a few first attempts at a map and the title screen.
I'm really excited to see how this project turns out, I also have a short story, but it's still: subject to change.
Quick recap of the story so far:
"The Ominous Legacy" is a survival horror game in which the protagonist Ryan finds himself in an abandoned building that was once a government research facility. Ryan searches for clues about his family's connection to the experiments that took place in the building, and must survive a monster created during the experiments. Ryan must collect items and clues to escape from the building and learn more about his past.
