itch.io app is not supported

Heya,

I am aware that Her Secret is currently not running in the itch.io app and will keep you posted once we get this fixed.

In the meanwhile, please run the game in your browser.

Many thanks!

EDIT: Actually with the new Windows build this also works now. Please let me know, if you have any problems.

So, I have two browsers, and the game works on neither of them. On Pale Moon, the game doesn't even start to load. On Brave, it seems fine at first... and then just as soon as I get past the menu, the game crashes, and looks like this:

This problem isn't exclusive to just this game, I have seen it a couple times before with games on other sites, so it's probably more of an issue with whatever engine the games were programmed in? So it may or may not be fixable, I dunno. No way to know on my end, though; this is one of the least helpful and informative crash screens I've ever seen.

Hi x-lksk, thank you for the bug report. 馃巰

I will try to reproduce it and see if I can do anything about it.

Until then, I guess, the only way is to try with another browser.

hi x-lksk,

I just tried to reproduce the error on Win/Brave browser. But the game worked for me.

Could you please let me know more details about what configuration you are using? Are you on Windows?

Love from,

Using Linux, specifically an unusual version known as Puppy Linux, whose main thing is being so lightweight it can be run entirely from RAM, and thus does not always have certain things you'd expect to come pre-packaged with an operating system. Maybe it has something to do with how much memory it is trying to use at once? Or trying to save data to somewhere that simply does not exist on this computer?

hi x-lksk,

thanks for the info. That might explain it. I am also no expert. But I know that memory management for WebGl games is kinda tricky.

Probably it's going to take a while until I get this fixed. I'll still keep you in mind.

Best regards,
