I really like 2.0 resolution for 4K 2D videos on my Quest Pro, while 2.0 is kind of overkill for 8K 3D 60fps videos (framedrops like 30-45 fps).

Is there any chance to have a video-specific resolution setting? If I could save them in HSP it would be awesome.

I'll consider it in a future update. One of the reasons the resolution is a global setting that requires a confirmation prompt is setting too high of a resolution on the desktop version can cause the app to stall or crash, so there are some prevention mechanisms that make it difficult to have the resolution set automatically per video.

Understood. Then it would be safe to have a separate button such as "Maintain current resolution for this video". He should have pressed "Keep settings" ok already to see that button enabled.
