This Dev-log has been created to share the details and progression of The Slime Horde through its development cycle.
I'm not sure how long it will take for the first 20 stage pack but what I can say so far I've done 2 Stages... Although I feel as if I've been a bit slow as of late... hmm...
Anyway besides the 20 stages I also want to sprinkle in a bit of lore and story in sorta/kinda of a hub world but that can be largely ignored for those uninterested in it.
Added Another stage plus I'm scrapping the hub world idea and now I'm looking into just having the slimes talk and stuff when you're just idling.
I am up to 8 stages out of 20 done now, no SFX's just yet and I plan for stage 20 to be a boss battle and they always take 3-5 times longer than your normal stage...
After a few more projects and after learning a bit of netcode I do indeed plan to revisit the card game idea but maybe with more of a player vs player approach unless that doesn't work on here... Also, After I get an iOS and Android license, I definitely plan on looking into building games on those platforms as well... Depending on how that works on this site... hmmmm....
Been a bit busy on some other stuffs lately so it might take a bit more than planned b4 this game comes out...
Besides that, I am considering commissioning art for my games after I have made a bit of scratch from them... I just have to work up the courage to allow donations to my games... which I will.... eventually... maybe... hmmm...
