Issue Drop Down Menus

Whenever I click a dropdown menu such as Camera, Microphone or Mouth tracking style the menu drops down for fractions of a second and is not reasonably usable. I have also noticed that after this occurs it can be very difficult to change tabs on either the program side, or the model editor side. After clicking a few times, they tabs return to normal but the drop down menus never improve in usability.

Edit: This also applied to the Gradient Options button for model options.

The dropdown menus should work like this. They're vanishing for you?

yes. i just went onto another computer and installed vtuber kit there and no issues. I have also used the DELETE feature to erase all data.

I lack the skill to make a nice gif like you did but here's a link to a clip for demonstration https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1736469127
edit: another clip of the strangeness - i also turned off my mouse and keyboard programs (corsairs ique and steelseries gg) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1736477562

That's super weird behavior. The suggestions I had brainstorming were already answered by you in the video.

The only thing I can possibly think of it this:

Looks like your cameras are not being detected by windows so maybe that is somehow making the UI glitch out. It's very weird, because it does like multiple clicks in your video, which would make me think either a mouse or UI issue. but I really don't know. Could also try switching mouse USB port. or trying another mouse altogether to see if you get different results. Sorry again for the late response, I've been a bit busy lately.

btw, you might be able to restore the old save data, if you go to the gear menu and scroll down to open save data, click that button and in that folder might be a save data file backup from before deleting stuff (it will be labeled as such). if you open that and the regular save data file in a text editor, you can copy the backup data to the regular data file.

SOLUTION! (well it worked for me)

I had my Switch Pro Controller plugged in, and it must be pressing something that triggers the effects.

Not sure specifically what is happening but I hope this helps someone in the future!
