I've been working on a game for about 2 years in my spare time. (which is very little).
SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE is a saga about Science-Fiction stories based on our times and a possible future that awaits us.
The first entry of this saga is "Alluring Nightmares", a First person horror about a very dark plot to be revealed.
I'm working on this game with extreme passion, that's why it might look a bit different than main stream games.
I prefer to dedicate more work on the story than on just showing off cool graphics with no soul in it.

STORY (For those who love to read)
The plot is gonna remain secret of course, NO SPOILERS! But what I can tell you is the story which this game is based on. (Created by me of course and might be subject to change).

In the year 2050, a group of scientists on a small and remote island in the Pacific Ocean have developed a way to let people relive their dreams in a very detailed and more conscious way, giving them more control to explore them.
This project was called "The NYX" which is a machine able to scan and stimulate specific dreams and project them inside the subject's mind, giving total control of movement and awareness but no alteration of the environment which is an intentional choice in order to explore them as they are.
The reason behind this huge investment to develop the NYX has come after an engineer, Max Celeritas (main character of the story) had dreams that led him to understand unexplained phenomena and historic events that no one else had answers to.
Max was having dreams which were more like nightmares. They were repeating every few months. He described entities trying to comunicate with him but the messages seemed all muffled and incomprehensible.
In other episodes he was able to understand those comunications and had exposed those dreams to the public via videos on social media treating them as funny and weird but at the same time interesting.
Little he knew that a secret military organization from the government would knock at his door wanting to have a private chat about those videos he was posting on the internet.
The reason the government got involved and urged to speak with him is because a group of historians, geologists and archeologists working on classified information for the government about historical events thought that what Max was describing in his dreams made way more sense of what could have happened in the past than any other study ever made before.
The detail and ideas behind those historical phenomena and events were so convincing that at some point Max started talking about a certain place that no one ever discovered but he was talking about it like eveyone should know it. He exclaimed "Come on guys, you all know about this place, it's like we're talking about Stonehenge".
This is where everyone present in the room remained silent looking at each other surprised and confused at the same time. One of the individuals present in the room who seemed like he was in charge, made a phone call asking about the operativity of a certain satellite in orbit. After a couple of minutes he exclaimed "Are you serious?" and then immediately looked directly into Max with a distraught face, as he wouldn't believe it... ( The detail about the rest of those discoveries are part of the plot, so no spoilers here, sorry ).
This unknown individual immediately explained to Max that such place was never discovered nor cataloged anywhere.
But the advanced military surveillance satellite has registered this place as Max told him where it was located.
It took a few minutes for Max to relize this is some serious stuff and as he's curious he accepted to collaborate in order to understand whatwas going on with him,
As he was asked. Max simply explained that he actually had those dreams multiple times where those entities were appearing explaining to him historical events and phenomena he was unconditionaly asking about.
This time, those dreams were all muffled and those entities looked agitated and worried, trying to talk to him but it's like they were farther and farther away from him. As if the dream was fading away.
After different analysis Max was diagnosed with extremely different patterns in his brain waves, so they decided to apply tecniques and tools they were already developing to treat Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease to extend this study and access his brain in order to collect as much data as they could. After a couple of years the team had found a way to record specific dream patterns and amplify them using a powerful Artificial Intelligence to complete gaps. Making it more and more reliable.
The NYX needed a great source of power so the only way was to convey the most of the sunlight into the NYX directly by using huge lenses. This was fairly easy considering the location's latitude being very close to the equator providing more direct sunlight.
The first prototype of the NYX was operative.
When the prototype was tested on Max, it led to a small incident putting him into a small coma. Max did not surrender! As he recovered completely he wanted to get assigned to the project as team leader considering him being the main subject of study and a senior engineer. After reviewing his capabilities and engineering skills, the administration accepted declaring it was logical, giving him a non-disclosure contract. Max and a few more people started working day and night at the NYX completing the machine in less than a year.
The NYX reached full completion, Max is ready to retry and this is where the game begins...
