Q: Is there a Mac version available?

A: Yes! There is now a beta version of Soraboy for Mac. However, it is currently VST3 only (no AU version).

Q: Why do I get an "unknown developer" warning on Mac?

A: This is because I don't currently have an Apple Developer Licenese. You can follow these steps to bypass it.

Q: Why does Windows Defender Smart Screen flag Soraboy?

A: Old versions of Soraboy came with installers that had this issue. I have decided to ditch installers for now. Please download the latest version and you shouldn't have this issue.

Q: Why can't my DAW find Soraboy?

A: Did you happen to change the plugin install location? The VST3 standard forces all plugins to be installed in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.

Q: Why can't Ableton find the Soraboy presets?

A: This is a known issue with Ableton and VST3 plugins in general. The Soraboy preset files can be found in C:\ProgramData\VST3 Presets\shadowsora\Soraboy.
