have clicked link in email address settings multiple times for two different email addresses and I cannot get the verfication email, this is preventing me from uploading game files

I checked my spam folder as well and there's nothing

Same here. I found a 5 year old ticket that said if you email support@itch.io from the email address in question, they can send you a verification manually. Might be worth a try.
