Feedback on my sound search & aggregation project

I’m looking for some feedback from game devs on my new project/site which uses AI to search millions of free sound effects & music.

I guess there are 2 main ideas with the site, first it aggregates a load of sources that people search individually today for audio assets (full list below, over 2 million audio clips). Secondly the search is significantly  better than a site like freesound (which only searches on tags).

You should be able to find the site on the audio forum here. Not going to post since it can’t really be included as an itch.io file.

Questions:

  • Is this project useful & worth me continuing with?
  • What features should I build next?
  • What sources do I need to add/remove?
  • Anything else?

Full list of sources indexed:

  •  Freesound
  • gamesounds.xyz
  • Free Music Archive
  • BBC
  • large free bundles such as SONNIS GDC, We Sound Effects etc.
  • Extracts & searches sounds from YouTube videos that can be used under CC-BY.
  • Paid sounds like Epidemic, Free to Use Sounds & Paramount
