Hello, I'm a member of the PetPet Park Rebuild team, and we're currently looking for coders!
Our goal is to restore PetPet Park, a now-defunct MMO, into a functional state; it was once considered lost media, but over time we've come across resources and files that make it possible to wholly recreate the game.
To be considered to join our team, we are looking for people proficient in C#, have a good understanding of Unity, and people with the ability to interpret Actionscript3 to later be converted into C#. Knowledge of JavaScript is also something we're looking for, as AS3 is similar in structure. Bonus points if you have a good understanding of how Flash games are developed/function as well, as PetPet Park was an online Flash game.
We are a group that is working steadily on making progress, but understand that restoring a game to a working state is a long process, and will definitely take an extensive amount of time. We are not looking to make a profit, as this is something we're doing solely based on our own passion to make the game playable again. This is a fully voluntary position, and you will not be paid for your time spent working with us.
To reiterate, these are the qualifications we are looking for in our coders:
- C# and JavaScript proficiency
- ability to read and understand ActionScript3 (knowing this isn't immediately required, but we're looking for people who are at least willing to learn how to read/interpret it)
- ability to rewrite AS3 code into C#
- good understanding of Unity and game creation in that engine
If you are accepted into our team, then you will be given an invite to our development server, which is on Discord. Please make sure you have an account on that platform, as it is our main method of communication between our team members.

Please make sure to read everything carefully, and fill everything out to the best of your ability. Any examples of coding/game design that you have that are relevant are especially important, so please be sure to include that as well to be considered.
