Clothes aren't passing

Hi,

My game keeps saying the clothes I design aren't what the person wants but they either are exact

and I don't know what else to do, or the color just isn't there and is just barely off.  I want to progress, please help.

Thank you.

Version 1.4 has a bug where sometimes clothes aren't being accepted even though you have matched them perfectly. It comes up pretty rarely, so please delete these clients when you come across them.

Do remember to switch the colour of the patterns/design though, sometimes it's hard to see if the pattern should be coloured, or if the design should be when it comes to striped patterns.

You should be able to pass all of the important clients though, though I'm not sure which one you're stuck at.

Thank you very much!  I have reached the stopping point till the next update.  I can't wait!

Hi, I have the same problem but with a mandatory design (I can't continue the chapters without it) and I have tried a range of different reds and blacks - this is for the first main order - and it seems as though the pattern isn't in the right position :/

Important clients should always be passable, here is a walkthrough for Neil's route on getting the designs right:

Important to note that the design for the masquerade (chapter 12) is different in this video than the one you're currently playing (you're playing the old version). I believe in the old version, the sparkles pattern also had to be applied to the top.

I'm actually playing Dimitri's route, sorry for the inconvenience, I still don't understand why it will not work. I need to make capri-length bottoms (red) wit a gingham pattern (black)

Switch the pattern colour and base colour - it's easy to not notice which colour is needed when it comes to stripes or patterns that evenly cover the clothing.

I'm also having the same problem with a mandatory design. I'm on Neil's route and need a mid-length skirt, also with gingham pattern (chapter 4 I think). I'm wondering if there's a way we could change/"predict" which design is required. I really want to see the next chapters, thanks!

Hi there, as with the post above you; make sure the pattern has the right colour. It is easy to mistake the pattern colour with the base colour when the pattern has squares or stripes. So if the design isn't being accepted, swap the pattern colour and the base colour.

You can follow Neil's walkthrough here:

Oh, I see. I was using mint green and some sort of light pink. Thanks, anyway!

Colours are grouped - so any shade of green will pass :D

Then how did I...? @~@ Never mind, thank you for the walkthrough XD
