Please read the GDD!

Description
I'm a student developing an action crime drama game with my team for a while, I'm the 3D modeller in the team for most character models and will also be responsible of all asset imports and playtesting, I'll always be up on Unity whenever we decide to work! I just can't code very well as I didn't learn much in the area. We have a team around 14 people with an illustrator, writer, composers, graphic artist/hud designer, translator, animator, cutscene animator and some other roles such as voice actors and environment modeller/designers.

What do we look for?
I'm looking for Unity programmers with some level of experience. We'll be creating a boxing oriented play style with a lot of bobbing and weaving and quick punches. If you think you're capable of creating action games with animation cancelling and loopable hit counter like technical things or enemy AI on a whole another hand, we can give it a go!!! We'll also use gamepad control scheme, which is easy to set up unless it gets into sensitivity on analogs which can also be resolved fine.

Game Project Me and my team are creating an action game with a crime drama murder mystery-esque story, featuring a delinquent high schooler Jack Kaita. It takes place in an isolated small village/ town setting. The game takes a lot of influences, for the style it's going for a japanese punk rock aesthetic with a lot of bleak-yellowish pallettes supported by the street environment with a lot of things like wire fences or electric polls. If you're interested, please give the GDD a read!

Work Process
The way I work together with the programmer(s) is with Github! It's not the best but an okay alternative at that, I'm experienced with Github throughout multiple projects along this one so it'll be pretty good to operate on it!  I also use a Discord server that has many channels set for different types of roles, we'd discuss in the coding section, I also made specific channels for documents and references so they don't get lost in the messages specific to each role!

Status
We're currently pre-production with some concept art and rough gameplay where walking, camera and punches are in okay form! The programmer has a big role in the gameplay which we'll really need to experiment until we see what works and what doesn't in the game's design. Some ideas may need to be cut but we'll need to see how it executes first and come up with ways for said execution!

Payment
This is unfortunately a hobby project and there are no plans of kickstarter or rev-share, you're free to use any work you create on your portfolios or showcase it wherever you'd like! I'll also try my best to credit you through the game's pages like Steam, Itch.io and Game Jolt along with your social media, it's very small but I'll try my best with things like this!!!

Contact
If any of this takes your interest please contact me! The game currently needs programmers and there is still a lot to experiment and test out with the rough drafts of the combat. The completion of this game and it's development will surely take time, it really depends on how we progress, but something of a year if it's a miracle and something 2 years if it goes more normally, throughout the process we can take times and prepare some sort of schedule, I have school aswell so it'll be pretty fit for both ends to take breaks and time off!!

Please check out the GDD, it covers a lot about this project!
