I reviewed your game

Hello Mr. Orc,

I know you know that I reviewed your game because not only did you give me a download key to do so, but you were also present for the stream. However, always, as a courtesy towards the developers of every game I play, I always leave a written review of my stream since sometimes my points during the stream might get lost behind my un-eloquent, alcohol filled phrasing.

Overall, I really think you have something special here. It's by no means perfect, however it clearly shows that you have taken into consideration what it means to make a game and not just a product of the engine you are using, placing you a cut above the rest.
I found exploration satisfying due to some good sound design and worthwhile rewards for exploring, and I enjoy being rewarded for remembering key locations that once could not be reached, now being accessible. And finally, the game doesn't fall into the typical JRPG trap (that even some AAA JRPGs still fall into) of making the first hour of game play just pressing the "attack" command.

Some of the problems with this game is that sometimes the lighting may obscure important information for players (such as bombable walls) and I wish you wouldn't punish players for exploring "too much" by forcing them into a boss battle they aren't prepared for. This feels counter to the rest of the game's philosophy around exploration. In future projects I would refrain from using RTP so much, this doesn't just include tilesets but also sound and animations, but I wouldn't consider it worth the effort to completely redo this game.

Definitely some valid points. As already discussed on the stream, I used what assets were available to me a t the time. We are only moving up from there, baby!
