Addictive game but I do have several questions

Hi Julian, I'm really glad that you're still updating this game after all these years, It's a really fun and addictive roguelike that I still come back from time to time.  I'm still scratching my head on some of the mechanics in the game though, so I have several question:

1) Do Fletchery and Bowyery do anything at higher levels? I put a lot of points in them (like 50 skill points) and it seems nothing changes. Do I need certain materials or do I need to put a lot more points into them to see some changes?

2) How many floor level does a dungeon have? I ask because I've been through like 15 level of dungeon near Isen Dun and it seems like barely anything changes apart from higher level enemies and more lucrative loots

3) Can I even restore my dead character back or restore it from a previous point?

4) How do I uncurse items? So far I haven't been able to find a potion, a scroll or an NPC that provide this function.

Hi! I'm glad you're playing it, and I'm glad you're coming back to it periodically. That means a lot to me as a developer - your time is valuable, and to have made a game that people want to come back to is really meaningful for me.

1. Both of them will create better items the higher the skill is. At some point I've been meaning to also have higher skill give you a chance at more projectiles (for fletchery), maybe I'll sneak that into the next version.

2. It depends. That particular dungeon should always have 25 levels. And yeah, it's dungeon-y right now. Not a lot of actual variety in terms of the levels.

3. Not in the normal game mode, but there's a setting called (I think) narrative_mode that you can set in swyrm.ini. When your character dies, the game will revive it with full HP, so you can explore the game.

4. There's definitely a scroll that does that. Your deity may also decide to uncurse your equipment if you pray and don't have other pressing needs.

Wow, thanks for the quick response Julian. Hope your game gets a lot more better than it already is.

Also, one more question if you don't mind. Why is burying the dead give me wretched status? My character is a follower of Aurelion which of course favors burying the humanoid dead, but when I tried burying the dead in a dungeon it gives me wretched status. Why is he so mean :^(
