Vtuber Kit being heavier than i thought

I tried to stream with this app, but suddenly it drops a lot of FPS (i only stream Valorant) below 90 FPS (which is unplayable for anyone like me that uses a 144hz monitor) and sometimes it crashs during the match.  I used vtube studio and it was very okay, but with Vtuber Kit i'm having troubles.  I'm actually curious why this happens with me.

I usually get more than 200+ FPS in Valorant without streaming and, with stream on is usually 190 between 120 FPS.

My PC's setup

By default, vTuber Kit is using the best settings for face tracking. Face tracking is very cpu intensive. I would suggest going into the "X-Y" tab and adjusting the quality settings. Lowering both the Tracking Quality and Camera FPS should show a drop in CPU usage. After than, you may need to raise the Tracking Smoothing slider until you get smooth movement on the model. (This slider will have no difference in CPU usage so you don't have to worry if you need to crank it up pretty high). Hope that helps!

Gonna try this. Thank you for answering!

I will report after the try.

I tested it again, this time with very low settings.

It continues to be heavier and demanding a lot from my PC. It ends up making Valorant unplayable...

By any chance do you have 2 monitors? If you do, keep vTuber Kit on another monitor and limit that monitor in windows settings to 60hz, vTuber Kit doesn't have any built in fps limiter at the moment but this might help.

I'll add an fps option for the program in a future update. vTuber Kit uses the same tech inside of vSeeFace, so you could try that program and see if it gives you the same issues. I also just released a new version of vTuber Kit today, though I don't think it will have any performance enhancements.

No, i don't have 2 monitors (yet).

Gonna update the app now, thank you for answering. I will test about vSeeFace

Hey, I just updated vTuber Kit to v0.1.8a which now has FPS options in the gear menu. You can set a preset (60, 30, 15) or click on the left FPS box to enter your own custom framerate. Hope it helps

I saw this.

I will test soon again, thank you for letting me know about update
