Hi everyone! 

I'm currently working on a platformer action rpg game called Glory Of Souls, it's a game about a warrior who want to reach the "Glory",  a power that gives him immortality and invinciblility

I'm still creating the story, if you have any ideas feel free to share them in the comments, would be very appreciated! :) , the demo and a longer alpha version of the game are going to be released in some days, the alpha is for those who want to support the development even more, below there are some pictures and gifs to show you the progress.

I'm planning to make a devlog almost every day, so you can see how the development is evolving, any feedback would be very appreciated!

Update 11th June 2022:

Today I continued making the lightning system and updated the particle system when you explode a guardian.

I created the first potion of the game


I created the attack animation for the Founder's edition (more on that in next devlogs)


I created the spike with its animation


Any feedback about these animations is very appreciated!

The game is going to be also in "itchfunding" in some days, if you are interested keep reading these devlogs, so you can know when the campaign starts.

Tomorrow I'm going to share also a little gameplay footage.

Update 12th June 2022

Today I've been working on drafting the second attack system (the first is the melee and the second is a kind of turn-based).

As promised, below there is a gameplay gif:

Today I added the spikes to the game

And started to create the place where there is the turn-based fight.

Update 14th June 2022

Today I started working on the dialogue system and creating Wizo the wizard

I created the icons for the turn-based combat

  • Blood Rain

  • Electric Wave
  • Fire Ball

I'll share more details about them and other icons soon!

I also worked on the place where are fought the turn-combat fights, I'm going to improve that making it a bit more open and adding the unlockable powers with the the icons above, below the player.

I hope you enjoy the work did so far, in some days I'm going to open the itchfunding campaign and I'm also going to release a little demo.

Demo coming in very few days!!
