So, I managed to download a very long stream (14 files) and only the first two are working properly. When I try to play on vlc it just keeps loading, and on other players I get a corrupted file message. I haven't tried to decode them to some other format, but probably they are corrupted. I'm using the itch version on linux, and apparently it's not possible to download stream by stream individually, if that's the issue.

Anyway, if there's a solution I'd love to know.

If you delete the parts that somehow got corrupted, you can ask Jav-It to download the stream again and it should only download the streams that are missing.  I know this has been the behaviour for a long time, but I can't remember if this change was included in the itch.io version. I suspect it was, but I haven't touched it in a while.
