Just to give you an update on the development progress. I have decided to completely re-write the AI algorithm that controls the enemy soldiers. The original algorithm more or less worked, but it was based on a flawed concept.
The new algorithm vastly improves the soldier's tactical decisions on taking cover. The soldiers now tend to stand off the enemy and try to get interrupts, rather than charging in.
Because of these changes the next version is taking a bit longer than expected.
