I think downloading it does not clear the data saves, I tried doing it on other games and the save files are still present on the new versions. but I haven't tried it on this game yet so I'm not really sure yet. Maybe, as long as the engine used is Ren'py, the saves will get carried on.

If you're ever worried about updating a game I always recommend making a backup of your save file(s) before installing, the place where you put the backup isnt that important, hell, it can be put in google drive if you want, or just on your computer/phone, after updating, if your file gets erased you can just put your backup there and it'll work.

Quando fui transferir o jogo tive que por os arquivos nessa pasta no meu laptop.

Aquela do sistema no drive C, Usuarios, nome do usuario, AppData, Roaming, RenPy.
