Hi, I'm a novice solo (and alone) developer with an irrelevant and useless theoretical physics background! I'm approaching game development for the first time and just as an interesting hobby.
NeedForOrder is my second small game ever which I treated as a learning project! It's a relaxing (at least for my brain) notepad-themed game that allows you to vent your inner need for order!
During high school, I spent a lot of time drawing simple patterns filling and following at will the various notebook backgrounds. With NeedForOrder I tried to recreate, in a basic way, this pleasing activity. You can reorganize some chaotically placed geometric objects at will. You can choose between randomly placed lines, squares, and disks. There is no specific goal...create your pattern/order: lower the entropy!
You can give it a try at https://neurodivergentgames.itch.io/needfororder (for the HTML5 version, or on Google Play for the android version)! If you want, feel free to post in the comments some screenshots of the patterns you created and let me know what you think about NeedForOrder and if something seems wrong or not working!
Here are some in-game gifs with some basic examples of configurations and the main UI...
(Sorry for the sketchy and intricate English...)
