I love the visuals. I think the high-res pixel art style has a lot of staying power. The writing is very good, building up an atmosphere slowly. I really appreciate the tiny descriptive touches when I click on random items.

The blue screen moment seriously fooled me! Haha. And to think that I fell for the same trick when playing Eternal Darkness all those years ago. :)

Note that there are a couple of typos towards the very beginning.

I don't think there was any music here, was there? That is something you should consider--although you can use it sparingly, if you wish.
