Tirahan is based on a pen-and-paper game we used to play a lot at school when we were kids.  It is a two-player game in which both players draw a base on opposite corners of the paper.  The base is represented by a sector of a circle.  Inside the base is the player's flag or mother ship.  Destroy your opponent's mothership and you win the game.  Along the perimeter of the the base, player's draw their canons.  Player's take turns ("tira" in Filipino) to attack his opponent.  To attack, you simply choose one of your unit (a canon, a ship, or even the flagship) and place the point of a ballpoint pen (pencils do not work very well) on  top of that unit and hold the pen vertically using only your forefinger.  Then you pull the top of the pen, you also push or flick the pen down towards your target.  The pen will create a streak of line, and if this line crosses an enemy ship, that ship is destroyed.  You then draw a new ship at the end of the line you just made, thereby creating/spawning a new unit.  The harder you flick, the longer the range of your attack.  But if you flick too hard, you may punch a hole through the paper!

This game is designed to be played by two players on a single computer.  Hopefully, if my powers will allow, I can have this played over the  internet.  Though my main vision is having it played face-to-face like the original game, but using a tablet or mobile device instead of using a pen and paper.  With my amateur programming skill, I whipped up a simple A.I. so you can play solo!

The game is still under development and I would appreciate it very much if you can play test the game and send me feedbacks, find bugs, and offer suggestions on how I can further improve the game.  Thank you!
