Near the start when your sister come in, It create some kind of loop a bit latter on, if you choose should i have to fly with her it bring you back to the good morning. But choosing the right option make the game select the left one.

The flowery frame around the portraits is missing in the dialogue in front of the library door.

Baxter bag description as typos.

Baxter dialogue is missing it's window, reappear after looking up at older sister.

Also when loading the next part the screen turn partialy black with strange geometric motive in the upper left part.

There are some He / She missused.

The game is enjoyable, i will post more discoveries as i play trought it.

The game seem to reload a dialogue from time to time, seemingly when the set (the whole room and characters) change. Maybe it's just and engine fault, it dosent affect the gameplay otherwise.

Hi, thanks again for doing this bug detection work, it's really helpful.

I don't know why you get an error window every time you use Load, it doesn't happen to me, but I'm trying to talk to the developers of Visual Novel Maker engine to solve it. They don't usually answer, the program is very abandoned and outdated, so I don't know if I can fix this.

I'll publish the new version as soon as possible, although with what you have advanced in the story I don't think it's worth to start again from scratch (although I could also give you a special copy of the game for you with a menu to select the chapter you want).

Hi, thanks again for your review work. I've just released the new version of the game but there are a few things I wanted to comment on. 

There are some minor errors that I have been unable to find (like the "ejaculate ") or things (like the redundancy in the cooker manual) that I have not understood well and that I have left for later.  

As for the errors concerning hyphens within words, many of them are due to the fact that in the original novel there was a line break and the word was cut off. However, there are also some that are written this way by the author and may have to do with the way of writing of that time (I leave you the link with an example: ' By-the-by,'). I have updated a lot of things in the original text to make it more understandable; maybe this has to be one of those things. 

I have also noticed that some spelling mistakes have to do with the fact that the typography I made is missing letters in other languages; that's why, for example, the words "tête-à-tête" didn't appear correctly. 

By the way, you asked me if it's normal that Miss Delafield's portrait appears when she's not present; no, it's a bug that I've just discovered happens from time to time and that I have to fix every time it appears, if you find more don't hesitate to let me know. 

Finally I wanted to ask you again (since you are in the middle of the story) if you don't want me to give you a copy of the game that leaves you in the chapter you are in (even if your decisions are not saved).

Regarding the word "ejaculation" indeed I have found them; in fact I have found 4 but they are all from the original novel; should I change it? does it sound too bad in English? tell me your opinion please. Here is the first original sentence:

"To think that this is the last evening we shall ever sit in this jolly old room!' says Thomas, setting down his teacup, and casting an eye irrepressibly jovial even while uttering this pensive ejaculation along the emptied bookshelves."  (page 54 - Dear Faustina)

In the oven manual indeed the text that is repeated "chimney" in the same sentence in the English version; I hadn't noticed. 

I will post the fixes tomorrow along with other small errors.

How many chapters are there? I imagine the question is how many chapters can you have left to play. From what you have told me I guess you are about half way through (or maybe further).I sent you a graphic with one of the routes you can follow from where you are to finish the game (a chapter can change a lot depending on your decisions and a final chapter can have several endings depending on the options you choose).

I have checked the new version (day 13) and it doesn't take me to a 404. Maybe it has been fixed or you loaded an old file? Can you tell me when this error occurs if it happens again?

The word ejaculation mean cumming, as in sex. Maybe it's just me but could another word be used ? i would have to look at the spanish version before suggesting a change for the word as context is important.

On latest build, i went an open the log.. some of the text said is missing and it always start at the begining of the game (not really a bug) but once closed it did this - https://imgur.com/a/OOmuraP until the story reached a choice, then it disapeared.

The original novel is in English and I translated it into Spanish. My translation was:

"¡Pensar que esta es la última noche que vamos a estar en esta antigua y alegre habitación!" - dice Edward sirviéndose una taza de té, y echando un ojo a largo de las estanterías vacías.  

 Which in turn could be translated as:

"To think that this is the last night we are going to be in this jolly old room!" - Edward says, pouring himself a cup of tea, and casting an eye along the empty bookshelves.  

What do you think?

With regard to the error;  It's strange, I've checked several times and it doesn't happen to me, have you loaded a game from a previous version or something like that?

And yes, the time change is a nuisance.

Thanks for the report; don't worry, I've already found the bug. As I said, this bug appears at certain times just after making a decision; unfortunately it's not something I can fix globally, I have to do it every time it comes up and it doesn't always appear

I don't know what exactly you mean by "legacy bug", do you mean a bug that happens after the dialogue with the lady? I've been checking and I don't have a bug at this point (the image doesn't seem to have any bug either). Maybe I spend too much time in front of the computer screen and I'm not thinking clearly anymore. Can you describe what's going on?

As for the looping party bug; I can't get it to happen to me; it must be a series of specific decisions, I'll keep looking into it. 

As for the save game; YES, it would be very useful, but how did you get it? Where are these saved games stored, I thought they were not accessible to the user, where should I put the one you gave me?

The term legacy is sometime used to refer to bugs that are part of the engine and as such will always occur within a specific set of circumstances.

For the save, 

Go to your C;/ drive (or whatever you named it)

Select the USER folder

Select YOU (the name you gave yourself)

In the folder options (if on win 10) in the top bar, open the view options and select the, Show masked / Hidden folder (important step)

AppData folder is now visible (this little folder is really usefull)

Inside there are 3 folder; Local, Local Low and Roaming

Open Local and inside of it you will find a folder named: Dear Althea Final

Select user data, then Default

In this one look for the file type - VNDATA

One is the save the other is the save header (i only send you the save if you also need the header let me know)

It is also how one can delete the saves he curently as.

That's where their hidding ;)
