Disk swaps

Im trying to load my own scenrio disks using the "insert disk into drive 1" ability. I had pressed the "Insert scenrio disk" by error and when I try to load up another scenrio disk, it always goes to the default one. Im asking how do I clear out images in the "insert scenrio" and "insert Boot disk" options as I dont want to use the default scenerios. The additional scenrio disks have diferent names on them and the game worked great by me just using the "insert disk into drive 1" option and going from there. There was a prompt to "insert scenro disk" that allowed me to insert one of my other scenrio disk and no that prompt no longer shows up. How do I get that prompt to come back up?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Let me try to explain how the disk menu code works:

The menu items "Select Deathlord [TYPE] Disk..." allow you to specify the actual game disks that you will be using. These will be automatically swapped as necessary upon booting, rebooting, etc... The original game asked you if you wanted to use 2 drives for example, and that's now done by default and the game scenarios will be loaded automatically when you select "Play a game" in the menu.

And when you choose "Insert Boot Disk" or "Insert Scenario Disks" (or using alt-< and alt->), the game will automatically switch between the disks you've selected above.

The other menu choices are the "Insert Disk into Drive [1/2]". This acts as an override and specifically tells the emulator to load the given disk into a drive, but does not save any information. If you then choose "Insert Scenario Disks" for example, it will replace anything you had in the drives with the 2 scenarios.

To get back to your question, I think all you need to do is "Select Deathlord [TYPE] Disk..." on all 3 disks (boot, A and B), and choose the disks you want. Then play the game. You can see your current disks (and more) in the config file in Saved Games\Deathlord Relorded\DeathlordRelorded.conf

Thats the part, "Insert Scenario DIsks" Im trying to undo. Ive used the other methods of the emulator menus including the "insert disk into drive 1" stuff. It goes to  load the scenerio disks I dont want. I have multiple scenerio disks I use and would like to be able to switch them, it just after I pressed the "insert scenerio" disk, the emualator goes to that disk as opposed to anything I chose in the other choices.

use “select scenario disks” and then “insert scenarios”. It’ll make those disks the default and insert them in the drives. Do that whenever you want to switch default scenario disks.

I did that and a party that no longer exists on the particular scenrio disk is constantly reloaded. I disbanded that group and reformed another, followed your suggestions and yet Im still getting parties of characters that do not exist on that scenrio disk file.

Are you running 2 instances at the same time? That wouldn’t work.

Here’s another thing that should always work (as long as you’re running a single instance of the game at once):

Back up your scenario files in the saved games folder to another folder, then move the ones you want into the saved games folder every time you want to run a different party. Keep your different scenarios in their own folders and move them to the saved games folder before playing.
