Libris Mortis is a turn-based strategy game, putting you in the role of a Necromancer as you decide which of your Undead to deploy in battle and how to fight off your enemies, with battles taking place on a non-isometric grid.  Raise the corpses of fallen enemies and harvest materials to create more Undead, then enhance them with stat increases and craftable abilities.

There are more than a couple of secrets hidden throughout the game, ranging from stashes of extra items to new Undead units that can be uncovered.
