I'm working on the puzzle from April 9/10 . . . and on the back of April 8th. I'm a fan of logic puzzles but there just doesn't seem to be enough information to come to a definitive conclusion here.

1. There are 3 signs pointing East or West. (If I assume this means _only_ 3, then that leaves 3 signs pointing North or South.)

2. All directions have at least one sign . . . got it.

3. I came from Graycliff, traveling West. (ie Graycliff is in the East) Got it.

4. Gregorim wants me to travel to "the Scorched Sands" which is "South of Dawnhollow." (This puts Scorched Sands in the South. )

5. Tarrotshade and Copperset match (they must be West or North given #1, 3, 4)

If I presume Dawnhollow is North (based on #4) then I can tell that the two in #5 are West and Darkvayne could be either North or South. But the conclusion states that Dawnhollow is South. It there an additional discussion with Gregorim that I'm missing? One that _isn't_ on the back of April 2nd?

a) Gragorim's words are:
"You will need to travel to the Scorched Sands, an arid desert south of Dawnhollow. It is a ten-day journey south from here."

b) Another helper is On April 8, where you see a map with the path to Dawnhollow.  The path shows a direction that is south and slightly west. Following this path from Graycliff, you travel South, then West, then South.   At the crossroads, you are told you were heading west before the crossroads. You haven't made it yet to Dawnhollow.

Dawnhollow is south.

Your presumption that "Dawnhollow is North (based on #4)" would mean that you passed Dawnhollow and would need to backtrack north to find it. You wouldn't have enough info for the puzzle, since you wouldn't know if Darkvayne were North or South.

One might presume that Dawnhollow is west, since you were travelling west before the crossroads. This would put tarroshade and Copperset North, and you wouldn't know if Darkvayne was East or West.
