I tried killing the winter lantern several times, i was getting 400 dmg with each hit, her health doesnt seem to deplete very much at all, almost feels like i have to hit her 50 times to kill, and also she one shots with her grab which clips through closed doors too! She just moves through the closed doors so cheesing is troublesome. Is she just not meant to be killed??
she is meant to be killed, but that's not the intended way, to kill her, in gilbert's estate, bait her to the "objects that can be cut", cut the rope and make it fall onto her.

that's not the intended way though, you kill her with the "object that you can cut", make it fall onto her, first, bait her to the long table in gilbert's estate, then cut the rope (hint) of the "object that you can cut".
