Installing games takes forever, very slow installing

It took me a whole day to install https://zykoveddy.itch.io/yume-nikki-3d even tho it's only 46MB (66.8MB installed).

First, I was trying to install it to HDD but after 8-9 hours I gave up and changed to SSD but that didn't help at all. The game finished installing only after 23 hours on SSD.

1. I've tried downloading the game manually from the website - works just fine, a couple of minutes.

2. I was slowly checking the size of the game folder to where it was installing, comparing it with the size of the manually downloaded and extracted game from the website and the thing is the folder to where itch.io app was installing the game was increasing up to the size of manually downloaded folder. After that, it stops increasing in size, it takes only a couple of minutes (so I assume the problem is not about downloading) and god knows what it's doing the rest 20+ freaking hours.

It's like this with every single game. Right now I've been installing https://chickenhat.itch.io/kura5-bonds-of-the-undying since yesterday's morning.

It's just like that: the progress bar keeps going, the game is installing, nothing changes.

Although it's already 1GB in size, it keeps growing by a couple of KB per some time. Have no idea what it's doing and why it takes so much.

I made some research and found someone complaining about that queued games appears to be doing something while the top priority game is downloading/installing.

Out of curiosity, I tried to cancel all the other queued games and I finally see something, woaw.

Upd: it just installed now.

Upd2: now it works perfectly fine. I download game after game without it taking 20 hours. I just download them one by one without putting games in queue.

So what in the world is that?

1. Is queue broken?

2. Is queue appears to be not a queue and games just do what they need all at same time? If so where are any indicators?

Don't understand anything.
