Hi! I’m the Community Dev on What Lies in the Multiverse and wanted to share a playable prologue with everyone here.

It’s a story-driven puzzle adventure game about two unlikely friends who come together over the ability to switch dimensions. Shift between worlds at the push of a button to solve brain-twisting logistical riddles and race through the twisted wilds of the multiverse in a bleak yet hilarious story.

Don’t let its cuteness deceive you. While the story is very much a comedy at heart, it also deals with a lot of mature topics like death, envy, obsession, and substance abuse. So much so that ESRB rated us 18+. Whoops!

The full game comes out March 4th on PC and consoles, but in the meantime, we popped a free prologue on Steam. If you like story-driven games with interesting puzzles this might be for you.

We'd love to get your feedback on this opening hour of the game.
