It will be nice if we can change the movement control from d-pad to analog.

I would also love to play it with the usual Soulsborne controls.
My brain glitches when I have to think fast in this version of Bloodborne XD
I start to press all kinds of buttons (mostly R3 but yea. doesn't exist)

well, what I meant is keep the control like this. But, instead of using d-pad as movement control, you can switch to analog just like dualshock controller.

It doesn't have to be soulsborne-like.

If you add BBPSX to steam as a non-steam game, you can set up controller configuration. Just make sure to go into Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings, and enable support for your controller. Then you can click “Controller configuration” on the game under the steam library, and change the mapping of the analog stick to D-Pad input.

Hi, thanks for this suggestion. I tried this by remapping the left joystick to WASD, and then also to the dpad controls of my controller, neither of them worked. I'm using an xbox one controller, but the playstation controls provided by the developer work as normal with this controller.  What am i missing?

Hello, great post!  Definitely helped me to figure out how to get my Switch controller I use for gaming to work properly for this.  One thing I'm wondering about though is I mapped the joystick to the D-pad, and it works in the home screen where character selection takes place, but then it stops working once I load my character in.  Did I do something wrong?
