Vitae - vital force, the essence of life. Can be produced only in two circumstances: by the living beings (requires a catalyst - their body), or by beings who discarded their shells and are now made of vitae itself (breaking through the fifth circle of the ouroboros).

Growlers - the lesser Old Ones. One of the non-violent species of creatures inhabiting the Great Nothing. A grotesque-looking result of a failed possession. A body as mangled as the soul. Contrary to their name, the noise they make resembles a child’s cry rather than a growl.

Mynnes ‘Echo’ Tremainey, born 3rd of July.
Appearance (the shell): tall and lanky. Slightly ‘baby-faced’ if not for the sharp jawline. Generally, the face is triangular in shape, smooth with freckles all over the skin (face and body). Chin-length unevenly cut hair (“sun-bleached [... ]of a tone more lime-green than yellow”), short-to-long bangs. Large doe-like eyes, iris unnaturally glossy, no pupils. Slender hands with no calluses. Tan complexion, slightly sunburnt skin. Long rather thin nose with a prominent bridge (aquiline) looking curved or slightly bent.
Personalty: solitary and adaptable, [his/her] personality tends to change depending on who [he/she] is around. Cold to those [he/she] doesn’t like, and warm and tender to those [he/she] does. Interested in fine arts, and empath. Secretive, though mostly because [he/she] wants [his/her] loved ones to think the best of [him/her]. Doesn’t take criticism well as it is easy to hurt [him/her] with words or actions. Displeased when things don’t go [his/her] way.
Mannerism: gentle and mellow way of speaking, rarely ever raises [his/her] voice. Takes a while before speaking/responding, is careful about the words [he/she] uses. Absent-minded, can easily drift off even during a conversation. Can sit/stay in one place for ages never getting bored/tired.
Trivia: has a noticeable accent (hard ks and gs). Likes animals but wouldn’t want to raise one. Proficient in several (now dead) languages. Great memory (if [he/she] says “I don’t recall” in 99% situations it’s a lie).
