We've found somebody! As a result, applications are currently closed. Thank you!

Hey! My name's Kai Sorensen, a pixel artist/animator and lead working on a 2D Pixel Graphics Action-adventure Fighter with a small group of passionate developers. We call the game Misbit. This game features a cast of four playable mercenaries, each utilizing the same basic combat system with unique twists. Mixing a combo-fighter, platformer and skill-based gameplay together, we aim to create a system that's challenging, rewards knowledge and keeps you on your toes. Below are a few character animations and a mockup (not to-scale) to give the general feeling of what we're going for. Further details will be disclosed to applicants.

Note: These images are still in their rough stages of development.

Our Team consists of:
• A Writer.
• A Pixel Artist/Animator
• A Concept Artist.
• A 3D Modeler with some C# experience.

Full Transparency:
We're still very new to this, and we are by no means professionals. Our current plan is to establish to bare minimum needed for art and programming to test out our mechanics. Once we get it both fun and functional, we'll begin working at the polished result. We have the experience in our areas but lack the ability to program it. Though this project itself is unpaid, if it makes it to the market we'll establish Revshare percentages based on workload. It's a shot in the dark, but it's what we're able to offer.

Position Requirements:
• Must be 18+.
• English-speaking. (We unfortunately only speak English.)
• Experience in C# for Platforming, Fighting and AI.
• Have work to show, as proof of experience.
• Dedication for a long haul.
• An understanding of how much works goes into making a game.
• Honest communication and team skills. (We're generally very casual, but expect a level of maturity.)
○ Most importantly, speak your opinions. Even if you're not experienced in the other fields, input from others is especially important to further yours (and others) perspectives. That's not to say everything said will be a guaranteed change, but it's still good to think on.

Meeting Times:
As we're all employed folks (working free), we try to have two meetings on Discord weekly on Tues. & Thurs., 7:30pm EST. Sessions will generally last between an hour to a few hours before we break off and enjoy some games for the night. Though these are not required, it's a great time to discuss. You're free to work outside of meeting times and discuss within the Discord whenever you'd like. Full flexibility.

Goals:
As a small Indie group, we aim to backup both our portfolios and experience. If all works out well, we aim to establish ourselves as a proper Indie studio and continue to create content. Games for the sake of good games. It's a tremendous amount of work, but we've got the fire to conquer this mountain.

To Apply:
If you're interested in joining in the project, or have any questions, shoot us an email at: vesselgamesindie@gmail.com
Alternatively you can add me on Discord for any inquiries as: Ϗrohitsu#7574
Looking forwards to seeing you!

Note: This application is not an official job position, and does not provide income as of this post. We are merely a bunch of creative minds coming together to make video games.
