itch client software core dumps on startup

I just downloaded itch client on my Fedora 35 (GNOME) system and when I run it I see the window for a few seconds but then it closes without loading any content. Its not running in the background either. I checked the terminal for messages but there is no error reported.

But when I check journalctl it shows 3 core dumps from the itch process. Signal 31
