Hi, I just downloaded this game for Android, and right off the bat before I even start a game, I go to options, and then I can't close the window without completely restarting the game. So I said whatever, lets start a game. Next I'm introduced to the main character, and I get to name him. Except that the default name is "Player" and I am not given a backspace button to input my own name. So whatever, we'll just be known as Player. I go to save my game and I can't even leave that screen either. The controls for the Android version are very far gone, and there doesn't seem to be a way to close any menu once you open it. I don't know if this is a bug due to RPG Maker not really supporting mobile or what, but if this is already known and unfixable, you shouldn't offer the chance to download it on mobile.

Edit: apparently there is a method, just tap the screen with two fingers. Why this works, why there isn't just an X to tap to close things, why is this mentioned nowhere in the game description or even the intro to the game? Who knows. But there's the answer.

I have the same issue. Strangely it used to work when I first downloaded this game on android a few months back, tho I remember it being a bit wierd because the button to go back or remove letters was invisible.

To go back, press the screen with two fingers. Same goes for deleting letters
I had to figure that out on my own, just trial and error.

Thank you for this. It's such a bizarre way to go 'back' instead of just having an X to press, and it's mentioned nowhere. This should really be put in the description for Android downloads somewhere.

I agree, I am assuming this is some android port or plugin limitation. I hope it's added on the game's page asap

Porting RPG Maker games to android always has unintended issues.
