Hello everyone,

I'm making a challenging 2d platformer in which you control a robot and avoid obstacles as you progress from level to level. So far, I've made up to 4 levels,

I'm looking for feedback on the graphics, difficulty and most especially.....Gameplay.

I am open to criticism as well as knew ideas and changes.

Thanks, and I hope you enjoy it. :-)

hi i just tested the first level of your game, i stopped because i didnt like the gameplay for those reasons:

the character doesnt feel good to play, its jump is way too strong and it land too fast as well, in comparison its speed is way to slow. I think you should add a little bit of friction when it stop moving so the character feels less robotic, and the character should have more air control too, considering that you kill ennemies by jumping on them. the fact that the camera follow a little the player in the second part make it even less precise and more frustrating.

Also you should remove the jump in the back when you hit an ennemy, it feels horrible. Maybe you should make a short period of time where the character cannot get hit after 1 hit like in mario  instead.

Other than that, ennemies difficulty is good i think, the problems comes more from the character i think.

Also i  think the games graphics looks very bad (the sprites of different art styles doesnt fit with each other, the main character is awfully pixelated, and the fact that there isnt a "dirt layer" below the grass makes it even worse ), just as the music, but it's okay since it's a prototype.

I also did a game i would like to get feedbacks on (especeially the gameplay), feel free to tell me what you think: https://kamigarp.itch.io/climb-the-tower

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'll try to fix most of the gameplay issues as much as possible. But I'll also improve the game's graphics eventually. Your game looks pretty cool (Coming from a guy that can't make 3d games yet ;)   ),  I'll check it out ASAP!

I hope you'll get to give my game another chance by then. :-)

lol it's not harder to do a 3d game it just depends on your game engine it's pretty easy to do a 3d game on unreal engine, sure i'll give another chance
