I have tried your game but to me this appears to be totally non-responsive...

First of all, I'm am new here so I have no experience with previous versions of this game or the game mechanics.  Therefor I go by trial and error: I have gotten nowhere. I have converted 1 Settler in to an Administration post, my other Settlers seem to just disappear when I instruct them to settle somewhere. No matter how many times I click, the Admin post does nothing, I can't enter nor give instructions. 30-60 seconds in I'm all out of options... i have clicked roughly every pixel in the game, and nothing seems to respond. I think I have also pressed every button available but I got no response. My people indicate they are starving, but there is nothing I can do...   Also imigrants want to join, but quickly leave when I can't provide housing. (Food or housing, what unit should I click to get that? My invisible Settlers or my non-responsive Admin office)

And there is no menu, or tutorial anywhere. Anyway, after visiting this board, I gave it another go.  I saw nothing but enthousiastic players, so it's likely I missed something. I checked out the wiki page to see if I could find additional tips. And I tried 2 more times. But still I have nothing...

Can I play this game? Is it my settings?  Or is it something else? 

Do you see highlighted hexes on the ground around your admin center? If you click on those you should get a prompt for starting new construction. You should also see a window at the top of the screen with information on your settlement. If you don't, try panning around a bit to focus on the admin center.

You can also try clicking the "World Map" display in the upper right, clicking on the village name on the left hand side, then clicking "Local Map" in the upper right. That will center you directly on the settlement and show the management controls.
