There is no real install for this. You simply extract the contents to a folder and it's installed. I would think the guide would explain everything in more detail from there.

I can't download, I get the following warning:

Hi. Thanks for the kind message. Since no one else chimed in yet, please re-download the latest version since I can see your not running the latest re-pack. Secondly, it's saying it cannot find your cookies.txt file. Make sure the path your specifying is correct. for example, if you specified "cookies.txt", then make sure it is present in your jav-it directory.

Hello, everyone. I am having difficulty executing the download commands. It tells me that "the output directory to save your streams in does not exist!". I have tried using the "download.bat" to streamline it, but this also presented with the same error message. How do I go about bringing this output directory into existence?

Nevermind, I figured it out. I went to the community discussion titled, "[ANSWERED] How to use i dont understand code", and I was able to get it working.

Kudos @blowtorch for succinctly explaining what needs to be typed on the command line!

Copy both the "Catalog" and the "jav-it" file and place them in the same folder as the files you want "named/matched". Double click the Catalog file (click the "Run" prompt when that pops up) and it will do the rest for you. at least that's what worked for me (locally, still trying to figure out how to activate it on a NAS). Hope that helped.

R18.com is closing in the new year. Let's just say I spent quite a bit of money since the summer of 2016 and now they will deny access!

They are about to pay a high price for denial of my rightly paid for products.

Please tell me this program can download and archive my R18 library onto an external HDD (We are talking 3500+ titles here so lot of space needed but the good news is they are mainly SD not HD)

I was planning to get a new HDD anyway, just need enough space to backup my titles before they get removed, and yes I was a legit paying customer so this is not piracy linked in any way just in case somebody has the wrong idea.

Might take a bit of time but this program (=JAV-IT) will do the trick yes. I'm using it to archive my R18 titles atm. I only had 10-15 so I'm almost done but in your case it might take some time :P

Hi, When I run Catalog.bat it works and creates a directory with all the info but no subtitles in the movie. I tried a few and always get this message:

" Incompatable subtitle definitions file detected! Subtitle searching is disabled."

jav-it is version 1.12.9 and the subtitle file is subtitle.mod, the latest from Patreon.

How to get the file to have subtitles if available?

I have a batch of R18 videos I downloaded years ago (I can NOT download them again). Im trying to remove the DRM with this, but it doesnt seem to be able to remove the DRM from downloaded videos and instead has to download them from the site. Is there anyway to remove DRM from R18 videos that have already been download and are stored locally?

If you click on the "Watch" button, a tab/window should pop up to play the video. In the link there should be something in it that says "player?cid=[Video Code]"

I'm a total newbie to all this. I just got the bad news that r18 is shafting all their customers. Is there a method to resave files already saved on my HDD? I had to save all my R18 files locally as I had issues streaming with my internet. I have the files but now ...400+ but r18 is screwing us all and I wont be able to play them... . how can I convert the files I have to a still usable form after their cut-off date? Somebody, PLEASE help.

Also, I seem to be getting the error "The directory specified does no existor could not be accessed!" when the folder isn't on my desktop when using the Catalog and the Download. Is there an easy fix for this?

FYI if anyone gets stuck on the cookies thing, you need to rename the cookies file to cookies.txt. Also the download.bat file goes in the same folder as jav-it.exe
