This game was a great experience, and I'm glad I played it. Big thank you to the creators for making it!
The gameplay is very calm and relaxing. You can play at your own pace, and it's impossible to fail anything (as far as I can tell). I personally like this aspect. I felt things, as I was meant to, but I was never overwhelmed. The storytelling is very well done, and even scenes that seem unimportant at first find a role later in a cohesive and moving story. I learned some along the way too. I like the representation as well, it was handled well. No spoilers here, but despite the gloom, I'm glad the story ended on a positive note.
I think I may have weirded out my partner when I asked them out of nowhere what they would do when I'm gone, but I'm glad this game was able to start a conversation and bring some death positivity into my life.
I got this game as part of the BRJE way back. Today, bored and burnt out from school, I decided to look through the list and see what kind of games there are. That's how I ended up here. Even now, long after the game's release, people are still finding the game for the first time and enjoying it. Some, like me, come to leave a thank you note.
