The first project, Lola's World of Wonders, shares some similarities with this as they both correlate to dark topics.

I've played through this for a good 15 minutes and got stuck, to which I gave up due to the sheer endless looping paths and corridors due to the fact that this is merely a walking simulator with how big the level is and the few items scattered around. Once in a while I did stop to listen to the music. I found that it was different and nice to listen to because it seemed to occasionally fit well with the rest of the environment that I was in.

I never made it to the end and I don't think I'll play it again to try and understand what I'm supposed to be doing or where I'm meant to go, despite there being no plot whatsoever.

My interpretation of this project is an instance of somebody who slowly loses their mind, such as being schizophrenic or under the effects of psychosis to the point where they can hardly understand things anymore; though the title also adds "somnia" so another possible factor could be related to the lack of sleep.

The gameplay is something else, the music is slightly enticing, and the concept is of something I haven't experienced before.

Overall, it's a nice short RPG and could even be a successor to Lola's World of Wonders. (in my opinion, anyway.)

Having played the game myself, I agree that the game has a certain lack of direction at the very start that might turn people off, but things click in place once you find the right locations. The game is also very short, about 15 minutes or so, so if you want to give it another shot, here's a walkthrough:

WALKTHROUGH:

1) In the first map, simply walk to the left until you see a Cactus, take the coin next to it and continue right and up the ladder.

2) You should now be at a Bus Stop, there's a Busport 1 on the ground there, take it. When you use the item, it will teleport you back to the Bus Stop.

3) Now go West of the Bus Stop, stick to the road, until you see a large building with windows. This is the School. The School has two entrances, a hole in the wall at the eastern end of the building and a door at the western end of it. Go inside through the door.

4) Now you should be at the Ground Floor of the School. There's a bunch of rooms there containing a Vending Machine, probably a Candy item (not sure if it's on the ground floor or the higher floors, but it's inside the School), an Elevator and a Guy that tells you to bring your friends to him. Ignore the Vending Machine, go to the Elevator, which will allow you to access the other floors. Your objective is to find 3 Friends on the three upper floors, It's trivial, there's 1 friend per each floor, one is in a Classroom at the First Floor, One in a Study Room at the Second Floor and the last one is at the Roof.

5) After you have 3 Friends, return to the guy on the Ground Floor, he will give you a Drink.

6) Leave the School, then go to the hole in the wall at the Eastern side of the school. You will find a kid there that wants Candy. If you have the Candy in your inventory, he'll take it and give you 1 Coin.

7) Now that you have 2 Coins, leave the School and go north until you hit a fence, then walk by the fence to the west until you see train tracks. Follow the train tracks to the Tunnel and enter it.

8) Now that you are inside the Tunnel, go west until you find a Vending Machine. It sells drinks called Coke and Water. Buy both, then drink the Coke. It will significantly increase the main character's movement speed. Now go west. The next map may seem endless if you walk there normally, but it's actually just a really long tunnel. Now that you are super fast, you will be able to get to the end of the tunnel in like 10 seconds.

9) After you each the end of the tunnel, you arrive in a Town. There's weird people walking there and rows of seemingly identical houses. Walk among the houses until you find one that has an entrance and a Guy standing in front of the entrance. The guy blocking the entrance wants a Drink. If you have the Drink from the guy at the school, he'll take it and leave, allowing you to enter inside the house.

10) When you enter the House, there's a short cutscene and you appear in the Forest. Walk to the east, until you arrive at a crossroads. Take the path south and continue until you arrive at the end of the path. There's another short cutscene, it starts raining and you find a Knife. Now, go back to the Crossroads and take the eastern path now. At the end of it, there's some kind of Rain Shelter, simply walk under it, the rain will stop and you will get teleported away.

11) You are now in front of a cave at the second map. The cave has a monster inside, but now that you have the Knife, simply interact with the entrance and the way inside is clear. Now, step inside, climb up the Tower, then continue onward until you reach the ending.
