Nate & Jake Help on Hard Mode

I'm absolutely loving ZAGS and I've probably spent way more time playing it over the past week than I want to admit. 馃槄

I've finished Chris, Malik, and Dan's routes on Hard, and I've gotten the Nate & Jake route on Normal. But for whatever reason I'm just not able to trigger the conversation to join in the poly route on Hard. I've gotten my relationship score high with both of them, but I keep getting the Nate & Jake breakup instead of them asking Carlos to date them.

Do you have any tips on the different choices that could impact being able to date them on Normal mode but not Hard mode?

Standard and hard have almost exactly the same requirements... the stat requirements are just higher on hard. As long as you're raising friendship with both of them and raising confidence and gamingness, it should work. (You also cannot have threesomes with Nate and Dan, and you must talk to Nate about sex and intimacy, but those requirements are the same between standard and hard.)

The other thing to watch out for is that you raise your friendship with the two of them somewhat evenly... there's a check on standard and hard (that's more stringent on hard) that will break them up instead if one of them likes you significantly more than the other.

(In terms of numbers for hard, you need at least 50 friendship with both, at least 40 of gamingness and confidence, and the friendships cannot differ by more than 24)

Thank you! I think it was the difference in friendship score that was tripping me up; I kept talking to Jake via IMs and had his friendship approximately 30 points higher than Nates.
