Help with getting mods in the game?

I bought this game a couple of days ago and was interested in downloading mods. However, apparently, I'm supposed to load the mod file into

  • C:\Users\*username*\AppData\LocalLow\Glitch Pitch\Idol Manager\Mods\

But this doesn't exist for me? I downloaded the game via a zipped file in downloads where I extracted the download file and clicked the application inside and started playing immediately. If I try to search the game, (with my own username instead of "username"), nothing comes up. Where do I put the mod file?

For clarification, I've already checked inside the folders and the folders inside that and its just a lot of stuff with unity

I think you need to create a new folder in the default location.

Probably, once you start the game without mods and once you create the save data, the basic folder structure and files other than mods will be placed under AppData.

After confirming that the basic folder has been created, create a new "Mods" folder in "C: \ Users \ * username * \ AppData \ LocalLow \ Glitch Pitch \ Idol Manager \".

Thank you for the response!

I do have save data, but The file doesn't exist under AppData so I'm a little stuck . I've been playing the game with no problem otherwise though.

Well, my explanation wasn't very good.

Does "C: \ Users \ * username * \ AppData \ LocalLow \ Glitch Pitch \ Idol Manager \" exist?

There are folders for "chash", "data", "Temp", "Unity" and some log files.

Create a new folder in that location.

If you can't find the "Idol Manager" folder, you may need to look elsewhere.

The easiest way is to search the save data folder.

Normally, "Idol Manager \ data \ story_mode \" contains a folder called "* unitname * _ * chashID? *".

(Example: "Future Stars_5504f9f9"

You should be able to find important folders by searching this folder, as the unit name is probably not used elsewhere on your computer.

In other words, you need to do this.

Thank you! I managed to find the folder!

Now the mod isn't working in-game even though it shows under the mod tab in the game, but at least I found the folder now.

i cant find my mod in game i did what you did i put it in mods but dont know how to lanch the mod

AppData is hidden in Windows by default. In order to have it show for you, you'd need to do this:

  • Open your Windows Explorer
  • Click on the 'View' tab on the ribbon (located at the top of the window)
  • Look for a checkbox labeled 'Hidden items' and, in case it isn't checked, check it.

The AppData folder should now show up where it's supposed to, along with all the other folders you'll need inside of it.

Thank you! I found the folder. Mod isn't working properly in the game but it might be outdated. idk

What mod are we talking about here? I might be able to help you.

Actually, I managed to figure it out a little bit after. The mod works just fine, I was just being dumb bc I didn't see it right away. Its the diverse idols mod

I was still searching why the mods were already in the game and not working.  The Diverse Idols Mod is there and I keep on pressing Enable button when it is already enabled with green color. Lol silly me,

I did that but I still cant see the folder

Is it possible that the game was installed by another user on your computer?

If not, then you should try typing %appdata% into the Windows Explorer address bar, which should take you directly to AppData\Roaming. From there, you should be able to get to AppData\LocalLow, in case it actually exists on your machine.
