I actually thought this was intentional, and I certainly don't think I would have thought to close the game otherwise. Funny what this game does to your thinking, I guess.
@kevio same! Monika was getting all freaked out and asked if I knew how to fix it and I was messing around in the game files trying to add ch30_26 for her so it wouldn't happen :(
