Hello all,

For the outgoing project of a team of three,  we're currently looking for 2d artist(s) and 2d animator to bolster our team in working on 2D dark fantasy cRPG.

The game is a PC game, 2D turn-based RPG set in a grimdark world, it falls into similar niche as Darkest Dungeon, Knock on the Coffin Lid, Banners of Ruin. It will consist of map exploration, turn based battles and character dialogues/cutscenes in between - the game closest to our ideal when it comes to core mechanics would be Battle Chasers: Nightwatch.

We unfortunatly cannot offer permament contract, but will be offering paid comissions for the jobs - no less then 3-4 a month, possibily more - depending on the agreement and available time. Most of the comissions (90%) would be fantasy characters and monsters.

Our goal is to deliver the demo by the december 2021, and continue working on the next acts of game through 2022 - so that's a lot of commissions!

2D Artist - Requirements:

- Sharing a portfolio, obviously!
- Your task will be to mostly draw characters (design & finalize), but we may also ask for an occassional background stamps
- You will need to adhere to general (dark) style of the game
- (Good to have) Basic understanding how 2d skeletal animation works and ability to produce easy-to-animate art (dissassembled and adhering to animation base skeletons)

We offer:

- At least 3-4 art commisions a month, possibly more, depending on the agreed prices and your time availability
- (Optional) Join us on the discord as a team member, with ability to participate in discussions, mindstorming, internal playtests, proposing ideas and generally driving the direction where the game would be going.

2D Animator - Requirements:

- Having previously work on animating game assets with a skeletal based animation systems
- A good understanding of anatomy and kinetic animation
- Understanding of animation principles (timing, staging, anticipation, squash/stretch).
- (Good to have) Having previously working with Unity 2D skeletal animation system or with importing Spine animations to unity.
- (Good to have) Ability to prepare art for animation: diassembling, completing and adjusting 2d assets

We offer:

- At least 2 commissions a month, possibly more, depending on the agreed prices and your time availabilty.
- (Optional) Join us on the discord as a team member, with ability to participate in discussions, mindstorming, internal playtests, proposing ideas and generally driving the direction where the game would be going.

Ps:  We're also looking for artists/animators with a less experience willing to join the team based on milestone payment system. If you'd like to be a game dev artist or animator, but didn't have any work done yet, we could use your talents - if you contribute, we'll also pay you based on your contributions for each project milestone that was achived.

Feel free to catch me on the discord if you'd like to know more/are interested:

Edit: We already found an artist, so artist role is no longer valid :)
